What’s the best way to explore a new city?

(A tribute to travel, a historical city, and a popular summer sport.)

Views of passing structural or botanical scenery, of fellow passengers never seen before and likely never to be seen again, and of the commuter-map to count remaining stops, alongside the occasional, undesirable odors, is to share a common experience of mass transit.

Some transit systems are large. Some are small. All offer the convenience of bus or train operators taking passengers from point A to point B and, perhaps, point C, creating a collective travel experience.

Today’s destination is Kenmore—the point B or C for Bostonians and visiting baseball fans venturing to a historic ballpark for a boys-of-summer pastime.
