What positive events have taken place in your life over the past year?

There are many positive events. Expected and unexpected. Large and small. Whether one predominates over the other is a matter of perspective.

Seeing my father for the first time in years, celebrating my youngest’s first communion, taking a week-long family road trip down south, and being thankful that surgery wasn’t required for the fractured tibia that my second son experienced mid-year were indeed favorable circumstances or occurrences. But to experience one, let alone several, is something to be grateful for. And having the holidays as the year’s concluding event is indeed a blessed way to end on a positive note.
