We always find ourselves on the go, likely on a daily basis. And most of us would likely desire to slow things down often. Vacations and weekend day trips are opportunities to pace ourselves and breathe a sigh of relief. Yet those excursions may belie their intended purpose, ultimately requiring hurried actions to ensure a good outcome. To slow things down without waiting until retirement means reconsidering our lifestyle choices and desired amenities that would facilitate a sustained, leisurely existence. The question is whether we’re willing to do without certain superficial wants to achieve this, or simply make a wish.
