We’re witnesses to an irregular, imperfect stack of Earth’s nearly flat, circular, geological creations, conveniently balanced in their ascending formation.
Perhaps Mother Nature’s stones embody our inclination to be a steady, unmovable presence, alongside the naivety of our obvious fragility, to be toppled, perhaps easily under the proper condition. Where or when does a firm stance preclude the fragile state of our day-to-day existence? A rocky question, indeed. Given this unknown, it behooves us to appreciate the gift of our earthly presence, a beauty intent to stay grounded while susceptible to vulnerability. To be or not to be–in perfect balance.
