A Broken Bone From a No-Contact Sport?

Touch Football is the sound alternative for players without protective gear.

During weekend gatherings at a grassy park, we take sides and compete, striving for touchdowns alongside our focused, defensive plays to avoid a deficit on our imaginary scoreboard, no different from our pro-team counterparts striving for touchdown points on the stadium Jumbotron. A pat on the arm, back, or shoulder, and the play of a member of the opposing team is over—no injuries sustained. Oddly, once, when cheering for the win with my teammates, I tripped over my own feet, leaving the grassy park perplexed with a broken wrist.
